Our
Attorneys
Jim Richardson is the Founding Partner of Richardson Maples, P.C. He is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, and a fifth generation lawyer. Jim’s practice has always involved civil litigation, representing plaintiffs and defendants, individuals and businesses, both domestic and foreign. He has served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama and is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and Alabama Association for Justice.
Jacob Maples is the Managing Partner of Richardson Maples, P.C. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama, and received his undergraduate education at the University of Alabama and his juris doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law. Jacob began his legal career in Birmingham, Alabama, primarily handling the defense of claims for insurance carriers, giving him the experience to now represent plaintiffs on the other side of the courtroom.

Lisa Husser
Lisa Husser joined Richardson Maples in 2010 as a Paralegal and has 25 years of experience in the legal field. Prior to joining Richardson Maples, she worked in Michigan, with both plaintiff personal injury and defense medical malpractice firms.
Lisa is married, has three boys and resides in Madison, AL. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, photography, cooking and watching her sons play hockey and soccer.
Erika McConville
Erika McConville joined Richardson Maples in 2019 as a Paralegal.
