Jacob A. Maples
About Jacob
Jacob Maples was born in Huntsville, Alabama, and received his undergraduate education at the University of Alabama and his juris doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Jacob holds an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell – a distinction held by approximately 10% of all attorneys. Jacob’s practice is focused on civil litigation. He primarily represents individuals in personal injury matters as well as disputes with insurance carriers.
Jacob began his legal career in Birmingham, Alabama, where he served as an associate in an insurance defense practice. While he gained valuable litigation skills handling lawsuits in trial courts all across Alabama, similar to his law partner, Jacob grew frustrated seeing the treatment of accident victims and chose to switch sides. He now represents victims of accidents and insurance company abuses and finds great satisfaction in standing up for the rights of individuals.
Jacob lives in Huntsville with his wife, Kristina, and their daughter Clara. Kristina is an elementary school teacher. Clara is in Kindergarten.
Jacob is a frequent lecturer and CLE presenter, having recently participated as faculty for the Alabama Association for Justice’s People’s Law School and the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association’s Last Chance CLE.
