Question:
What should I do if my workers’ compensation claim was denied?
Answer:
We see a lot of folks who have had their claim denied for dubious reasons at best. Fortunately, the workers’ compensation law is construed to benefit the injured worker. If your claim has been denied, we can often take your claim, file a lawsuit, and ask the court to conduct what’s called a compensability hearing, which is a limited trial. The sole purpose of that trial is for the court to decide if you were in fact injured at work and entitled to workers’ compensation benefits. We can often win those. If your case has been denied, call us. We can help you.
