Temporary partial disability is the compensation paid due to a reduction in your earnings up through the date that a doctor says that you’re as good as you’re going to get. At that point then, it’s a question of permanent disability benefits. Temporary partial disability simply means that while you’re able to work and make some money, you don’t make as much as you did before your injury. When that happens, you are due compensation for the difference between those two amounts of money.
